This is me

AIDA ROJO SANCHEZ

During the year 1974 many important events took place around the world and only three of them happened to change history. On July 17th a bomb planted in the Tower of London left one person dead and 41 injured. No organization has claimed responsibility but the IRA was blamed for it. On August 9th Richard Nixon became the first US president forced to resign after the Watergate Scandal. This included the break- in at the Democratic Party headquarters to sabotage political opponents. On September 6th in Lopez Mateos Hospital a 25 year old woman and her husband were about to receive their first child. At 5:00 am, a 4 kilograms brunet baby girl named Aida was born.

Aida who was named not only after her mother but after the opera written by Giuseppe Verdi as well, grew up in a beautiful village near Mexico City where she spent most of her childhood. The environment where she and her three siblings were brought up was always full of love, care and great values which encouraged her day by day to live and enjoy school, friendship and her role as the eldest in her family, despite the typical issues brothers and sisters have, she found the best way to overcome the difficulties, causing her to be successful and become the woman she is nowadays.

These days she works as an English teacher for the Universidad Tecnologica de Tecamac where she has worked for 7 years. She teaches to five groups from different majors as well as managing the content and the design of integrated syllabus exercises for the English platform of the university. Regardless of her different duties she finds time to spend with her family and above all to be with her boyfriend Ricardo; who is an independent producer and editor. They have been together for more than a year; actually today they are celebrating one more month of a happy and lovely relationship which keeps Aida’s life in a wonderful status.
